Moved

The last few days have been really awful--there's just no other way to put it. If I had to describe what I felt like right now, I'd say it's like a dirty rag someone has been trying to clean so they dip it in the water and keep wringing it out. Wrung out. Hung out to dry maybe, but more precisely in a constant state of wringing.

And I've been making du'a, my eyes and face stained red from tears... if anyone is reading this, please make du'a for me. I can't say why, just please...

Last night I moved into a new place. It wasn't a pleasant experience, the moving. I'm glad it's over though. The image in the picture is the view from my new room. It's a lake. It is such a peaceful scene but it does nothing to calm the storm in my heart right now.

Oh my Lord, help me!

Asalamu Alaikum sister

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been so upset. I'll keep you in my duas, and if there is anything I can do for you let me know!

The view looks very nice too!

AA- Amy,

May Allah (swt) bring you closer to Him by way of these trials and tribulations. And what is greater reward than that?! :-)

Keep making your dua'as and include us in them as well.

Assalaamu 'alaikum sister,

May Allah subhana wa ta'ala ease your distress and give you what is best for you in this life and the next.

whenever i'm distressed, i read surat ad-duha. the reminder that Allah will never forsake you, that He loves you, and that He always does what is best for you strengthens my heart. I hope it works for you too, InshAllah. Remember that as your iman grows stronger, your tests grow harder, and that Allah will never test you with anything that you can't handle. My thoughts and duas are with you.

Assalaamu 'alaikum,

A good suggestion Taiyyaba. May I also recommend reading surat al Kahf, especially the story of Musa and Khidr? (alayhum assalam)It is my favorite part of the Qur'an.

Salam Amy.

I'll definitely keep you in my duas. I'm sure that feeling hurts badly.

May Allah make things easy for you and bring peace to your heart. Ameen.

Reading from the Quran for a while will help. Keep your head up sis. Insha'Allah everything will be fine.

Salaam,

MedGirl

As-salaamu Alaikum to each of you who have replied and left with me your du'a and reminders, and recommendations.

Truly there is nothing bad in the Qadr of Allah (SWT), and I ask Allah that he brings me nearer to Him through this path of hardship, and also that he makes it a path of ease.

And verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find ease... and the Qur'an is the best remembrance. May Allah reward you all for the help you have been to me during this time.

Dear Amy,

Sorry you're upset (the reason is none of my business, I'm sure) but I'll remember you.

Allah loves you. You know that. I'm fairly certain that G-d doesn't exist, but I'm sure He loves you despite my unbelief. :) Don't worry too much about the small things.

You're a good person. The world changes, but you'll remain as you are regardless.
