Say ...How Can i Get the Arabic version of this Dua

Say a supplication - On the way to the masjid, the prophet (S.A.W.) used to say: "O Allah, make in my heart light, in my vision light, on my right light, behind me light, in my nerves light, in my flesh light, in my blood light, in my hair light, and in my skin light."Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14359602743876805593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20631069.post-67100501921211219882009-01-17T07:25:00.000-05:002009-01-17T07:25:00.000-05:00Wa alaikum as-salaam s.ahmedI have never heard of ...Wa alaikum as-salaam s.ahmed

I have never heard of a "minimum size" although you must remember that the point is for people to be able to see it and recognize it as a sutrah. I've never heard of a maximum or minimum distance, but once again the idea is practicality. If one is very far from the sutrah, then how is it really a sutrah, since it might not be clear to someone that the person has a sutrah (unless it's just the wall, in which case people might try to avoid walking in front, though it could be difficult.) Most people place their sutrah in front of them just enough distance for them to have enough room to prostrate behind it.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15177578450022894894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20631069.post-5443644304545776692009-01-17T07:09:00.000-05:002009-01-17T07:09:00.000-05:00Assalamu Aleikkum,Was searching for Ittar/Attar/Pe...Assalamu Aleikkum,

Was searching for Ittar/Attar/Perfume/Incense and it showed up your link.

Is there a minimum size for the sutrah. I wish more women would make a barrier. I make a barrier in the mosque, and yeah, it's my purse. :)

I wonder about the trading bit -- does it mean just the actual prayer space? I looked into this once but I forget now.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20631069.post-86600345541446539762008-06-09T12:07:00.000-04:002008-06-09T12:07:00.000-04:00For some reason, I've noticed that sisters, more o...For some reason, I've noticed that sisters, more often than brothers, use a sutrah. Usually their purse--convenient enough. Brothers, on the other hand... I dunno. They pray at the wall, which is good, or behind a pillar. But most of them pray without a sutrah, even though there are plenty of little book racks they could put in front of them. And some pray next to the wall so nobody would really walk in front of them--they'd run in to the wall.

By the way, in the congregational salaat it's not necessary to have a sutrah, unless you're the imam. The imam's sutrah is for the entire congregation.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15177578450022894894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20631069.post-22061789259005409622008-06-08T02:31:00.000-04:002008-06-08T02:31:00.000-04:00hmm "Use a sutrah".. didnt know tht.. but always w...hmm "Use a sutrah".. didnt know tht.. but always wondered..
thnxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09423239765000831563noreply@blogger.com
